The neighbourhood of Cabo-Llanos in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the Oil Refinery are a part of the city’s historical landscape during this century. It is about an old industrial neighbourhood dedicated to oil refining restructured into a residential neighbourhood. The intention was to incorporate the elements of petroleum company CEPSA to the image of the city.
The recycling project was based on conserving the simplest aspect of a crude tank, showing the exemplary nature of a singular piece with industrial character.
Turned into cultural space, the dimensions of this cylindrical piece, allow diverse artistic displays, offering an unusual multifunctional area for cultural activities.
