Fernando Menis. Rehabilitación del Hotel Cracovia en Museo de Arquitectura y Diseño

Fernando Menis has conducted the Innovation workshop for the adaptive reuse of the Hotel Krakow as a Museum of Architecture and Design

Thanks to a wonderful initiative by the magazine Architektura Murator and its director Ewa Porebska, students of architecture, interior and industrial design have thought intensely and intensively about the future of the historic Hotel Krakow under the tutelage of Fernando Menis alongside Jakub S. Bil from the Krakow Academy of Sciences, A. Frycz Modrzewski and Marek Cyunel of the Technical University of Krakow. The best 20 proposals that have resulted from this collective search for ideas have been presented on May 19 in the framework of the Museums Night of Krakow and can be seen in an exhibition at the Hotel, through June 4.

Dzięki wspaniałej inicjatywie magazynu „Architektura Murator” i jego redaktorce Ewie Porębskiej, studenci architektury, projektowania wnętrz i wzornictwa przemysłowego myśleli nad przyszłością dawnego Hotelu Cracovia. Warsztaty prowadził Fernando Menis oraz Jakub S. Bil z Krakowskiej Akademii im. A. Frycza Modrzewskiego i Marek Cyunel z Politechniki Krakowskiej. Dwadzieścia najciekawszych prac zostało zaprezentowanych 19 maja podczas otwarcia Nocy Muzeów w Krakowie i można je oglądać na wystawie powarsztatowej w Hotelu Cracovia do 4 czerwca.
