Reason and emotion
The Canarian architect Fernando Menis used in the creative process, models, performing in a traditional way, when you start each project. As explained himself Fernando Menis, “mold each object helps us to discover more free and artistic architecture”. Another advantage is that you confront the object technology. Menis added that “common sense dealing with raw materials and their true potential is the context where it is inserted, it is the framework in which reason and emotion are combined”.
In the specific case of Multifunctional Concert Hall “Jordanki” in Torun, Menis Arquitectos solved merged traditional concepts and development, through the materials chosen. For the interior brick, a material with a strong presence in the facades of the historic center of this city of Poland, while for the exterior, he opted for the clear concrete, almost white, which suggests the interior was chosen to most mode rips.
